Joshua is 6 years old now.

We celebrated Saturday with a white funfetti cake covered in pink strawberry frosting, sprinkles and balloon candles--all picked out by Joshua.

Not the greatest picture, but it shows his gifts from mom and dad. He is really into creating things with crafts: beads, glitter glue, bells, jewels, pom poms, sparkly decorations, etc . . . The kind of things you find in the craft aisles at Walmart. We bought him some of these things and he was ecstatic. Joshua, Joseph and I spent part of Sunday stringing necklaces, bracelets and sword belts with beads. He is thinking about trying to sell them for 20 or 40 cents each. Now he wants to give a necklace or bracelet to his whole class or at least a couple of girls he likes at school. Mmmm, our little Romeo is starting young.

Okay, I can't believe he's already into girls! That is so funny! What a charmer--winning them over already with jewelry! (And their salads/salsas below look delicious--yikes! But the garden looks AMAZING!!!)
Happy B-Day! And cute virgins party.
