Dinosaurs!

Yesterday we were able to take our family to see the dinosaur museum near the point of the mountain. We have wanted to go for some time now. It was a lot of fun! I never imagined I would walk under the belly of a brontosaurus. They were huge!!!! Our oldest boy's favorite animal was the Woolly Mammoth near the end of the tour.

They have a little sand area where children can excavate for buried dinosaur bones. Here are the two oldest brushing the sand away from some pretend bones.

This is a swimmers worst nightmare. (Many many many years ago) Can you imagine being swallowed by this?

Oh, cute! A baby dinosaur. I just noticed as I was looking at these pictures that Jonathan seems intrigued with the eye of the dinosaur.

There was a water play area where children could bury dinosaurs in the sand and channel water into lakes, rivers and such.

Meet the Triceratops. I think Joseph is looking up at one of the two T-Rexs that were next to the Triceratops.

What a cool museum! I have heard a lot about it, but we never made it there while we lived in UT. It looks like your boys loved it! Did you guys have a good Christmas? Hope all went well.
